When you look at me
What do you see?
Black, white, something between?
A lowly slave
Or a gorgeous queen?
Confidence or lack of it?
Laid back
Or biting at the bit?
Whatever it is
How do you know that it's real?
That that's how I feel?
I may look calm
But that's before the storm.
I can tear you up
Or patch you up.
But when you look at me
I can easily see
What you believe.
What you see
When you look at me.

Hi, I'm Alex(andria). I'm a soph. at GHS. My mother is a beautiful black woman and my dad is an awesome Caucasian guy. I have a pretty cool, although sometimes annoying, slacker of a little brother. In any free time I have (not much, since I play soccer in the fall and work part-time the rest of the year), I love to paint, draw, write, or hang out with my friends or my boyfriend. I hope you enjoy reading what I have to say.
