krista
-- webmaster, contributing writer --

Krista is the site designer and webmaster for this online first issue of the familiar. She was born on October 7, 1983 and is a junior at Garfield High School. She is currently a student in Christina's Roux's Creative Writing class. Krista spent eight years of her life in Cebu City, Philippines before moving to Seattle in 1992. She later pursued computer programming classes at West Seattle's Institue of Electronic Design.

Her hobbies include writing poetry and photography, but she also enjoys a variety of sports, music and theater. She studied acting at Bellevue's Northwest Studios and considers movies to be one of her many passions. In 1999, she played Willamena Shakespeare in "Twelfth Night", an offbeat modernization of Shakespeare's play about mistakened identities. Her character was a female counterpart of the famous playwrite. "Twelfth Night" was performed at Chief Sealth High School and was co-produced by the Seattle Repertory Theatre.

This is Krista's second collaboration with editor Pamela Sackett on the familiar as the site designer and webmaster.
